Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendents will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities. Isaiah 54:2-3
Dear Redeemer Family
This verse was part of a word God gave for our entire church this past January during our annual meeting regarding His increase in our Body. Since then, I have been praying about this in light of our kids and how they would be included in this word. Our population of kids is growing, growing, growing... a gigantic blessing! God keeps telling me, as their leader, to get ready, be prepared, enlarge the place of our tent because He is bringing in a harvest of kids to be raised and discipled here at Redeemer. He is raising "intimate warriors"... kids who are grounded in loving His heart and mighty in advancing His Kingdom.
In obedience to this, I feel that it is time to expand our children's ministry by adding two more classes beginning in September. On Sunday mornings, I will be adding another preschool class and on Thursday evening I will be adding a 1st-2nd grade class to our mid-week ministry to 3rd-12th graders, RFC United.
I am writing this letter to you for two reasons:
- Please pray for our kids, that God's promises would be fulfilled in their lives and in this ministry.
- Please pray for more workers. "The harvest is plentiful but thet workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field" Matthew 9-37-38). Along with expansion comes the need for more poeple to align themselves with God's heart for our kids, people who have a passion to raise them to be intimate warriors. Would you please seek God and be Obedient if He calls you to serve and minister to some of the coolest kids on the planet? Below is a list of specific needs for the Fall.

Opportunities to Love and Disciple Kids
Sunday Mornings
- Infant Nursery - Ages 0-1 years old - Need 5 teams of 3 people - Total of 15
- Toddler Class - Ages 2-3 years old - Need 5 teams of 3 people - Total 15 people
- Preschool/Kindergarten - Ages 4-6 years old - Need 5 teams of 3 people - Total 15 people
- 1st-5th Grade Classes - Need 5 teams of 5 people - 25 People
Thursday Nights
- 1st-2nd Grades
- 3rd-5th Grades
If you are interested in serving on Thursday evenings, please see Holly for specific expectations, as Thursday's run differently than Sunday mornings.
When God calls you to serve...
- must be involved in a small group throughtout the year such as a cell group. Full Life in Christ, Young Adults, and/or RFC United.
- For Sunday mornings, must be in at least 9th grade or older; for Thursday nights, must be graduated from high school.
- Be Willing and make it a priority to attend 2-3 teacher training sessions throughout the year.
